These are really nice jeans! They feel good in and the dark color elevates them so they are a little dressier. I paired them with sandals for a birthday celebration, but likely need a little higher heel or boot. These new flares have the perfect combo of retro cool and modern chîc. The dark wash is gorgeous and the length is perfect for my 5'8 height. I especially love that these jeans have a true high waisted cut. The waist sits on a flattering a comfortable part of my waist and accommodates both my wide hips while still leaving no gap on my waist. The denim is thick and nice and pulls you in a little bit. I sized up one size, I could've probably gone with my regular size if I wanted more of a shaping/compression effect, but the size 10 is fine for more comfort.
