I'm glad I read the description and reviews and ordering a size up from my usual, the waistband on the size L was shorter than the lacy size M (my usual size) Day to Date Night band! However, I expected this because of the compression element. Despite looking smaller, they pulled on like a dream and snatched my postpartum lower tummy in SO well, and they didn't roll down at all throughout the day. I absolutely love these, and the fact that they're mostly cotton is a huge win! I would say the only drawback is that the waistband may be TOO effective at times. . . occasionally I have to adjust the back part of the thong because it's being pulled up too tight.
