I like them; using them postop

I got a quilting tummy tuck (meaning the skin was sewn back on the muscle). I did not require any drains. I needed an abdominal binder for four weeks and then my plastic surgeon said that I could use Spanx. I invested in multiple Spanx underwear to support my recovery and they work! For context, I am 5 feet, 142 pounds. I got size medium and they were a little tight around my thighs, but after wearing them like the second time, it did stretch out just a tad where I no longer feel tightness. Highly recommend, especially in your postoperative recovery.

SPANXshape ExtraOrdinary Brief shapewear fits comfortable and has just the right amount of compression, not super tight. These work well with my skirts, pants and dresses, invisible under my clothes.
