Hi, I am glad you asked. The spanx are smooth to the touch but the grip doesn't hold and it rolls down leaving a bulk across the back. Also, "this is toward all shapewear" the spandex needs to be a lot stronger in lower stomach area ("The FUPA")😆 My previous spanx were perfect,they were pricey but a lot thicker. I hope this helps. classic Spanx shapewear that sucks you in, but doesn’t make you feel restricted. I do feel like they have redone the materials so that it moves and grooves with your body. I do like that this style goes all the way up to the Tatas to really give you the curves without any of the lines. I will definitely be wearing this with some fall sweater dresses.Jeannette R.
