Trial and Error

I am quite happy with these jeans overall, and I now have every color offered. My challenge was in finding the proper fit, as the different colors fit me differently. Using the size guidelines on the product page, I have determined the following: 1) Black and Poseidon run true-to-size. As is my usual practice with jeans, I washed them inside out in cold water, and hung them to dry. They wear comfortably, not stretching out too much throughout the day. 2) Mediterranean and Antique Indigo run large. My typical method of laundering resulted in jeans that stretched out to an extreme as I wore them. I resorted to re-washing and putting them in the dryer on medium heat (twice), which has provided a more comfortable fit experience. Thankfully the length did not shrink much!! These are beautiful and practical jeans. The color options are great, and the fabric is substantial. The pull-on styling allows tops to lay flat. I am enjoying the functional back pockets, and the tiny "watch pocket" in front. I put my rings there when washing my hands. . . perfect!!

disappointing

I am so bummed! This is the first time I am disappointed in Spanx jeans over the 6+ years I’ve bought them. These run much larger than the black pair of the same pant, and it leaves them looking frumpy and unflattering on me.
