These pants run a full size larger than marked (so I recommend you size down) compared to other styles of Spanx jeans I recently purchased. Maybe I should order a size smaller before commenting on fit, but I find they flatten my behind (which I don't find flattering) - I think this is because of the fabric square sewn inside as the back pocket. Note they have functional front and back pockets but note neither is deep enough to fit a phone. I am 5'9" and normally order a tall, but for this one I ordered regular and the hem touches the ground when I'm barefoot.
