ABOUT 1 MONTH AGOGreat dress, complex and time consuming exchange process that left me dressless for my Christmas party
I ordered this dress in an L, the cart defaulted to a 1X, I changed it back to an L and paid for it. A week later a 1X arrived. The dress is gorgeous but too big obviously. The problem is Spanx does not have a good platform for returns or exchanges. It's a lengthy process that requires you to go to a FedEx to print a Smart Post label, then drive to a Post Office to drop off. The FedEx employee let me know the Smart Post labeled items will sit for weeks in their store until someone comes and get them. So I should probably not leave it there. Next step is to wait for the return to be processed (10 days). Then to get the right size at the correct price I'd have to actually call someone on the phone and advocate for the price I paid ($118 sale, not $168 regular). Good news: As I wait for my return to be processed the dress has dropped in price significantly so - I ordered it, fronted the money and am still waiting on my refund from the 1X dress. Hoping I get the dress in time to wear to ANY holiday event. This was supposed to be for an event on 12/12. I ordered it on Black Friday, still haven't received my refund, still waiting for my new standalone order to arrive.
